Actress Go Min-si (32) has announced her intention to take legal action regarding allegations of school violence, stating that they are "completely unfounded."
On the 26th, Go Min-si's agency Mystic Story stated that the allegations of school violence against her are "clearly false and unfounded."
They further expressed "deep concern and regret that the reputation of our affiliated actor is being damaged by malicious posts based on false information," and announced, "We have appointed a legal representative today and have begun reviewing and proceeding with legal actions, both civil and criminal."
The agency also requested, "Speculative reports and dissemination without fact-checking regarding our affiliated actor can cause deep wounds not only to the actor but also to their family, so we ask that you refrain from indiscriminate dissemination and spread."
Previously, a post titled "Victims of school violence by actor Go OO" was published on an online community.
The author claimed to be a middle school classmate of actor Go and alleged, "Go has committed school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and mockery and threats against disabled students since middle school."
They continued, "(Go) had serious ethical flaws. Nevertheless, without any reflection, they continue their activities in the entertainment industry, beautifying the past as a 'simple mistake,' and stated, "I do not want any apology or compensation. I hope they permanently cease their activities to prevent further harm."
Although the author did not specifically name the perpetrator as Go Min-si, they disclosed the region, school name, pre-name, age, and past photos, leading to speculation that it was Go Min-si.
Go Min-si is currently appearing in the Genie TV original drama "Your Taste."
