Kyuhyun, a member of Super Junior (real name Jo Kyuhyun, 37), has put his guesthouse building located in Jung-gu, Seoul, up for sale.
According to Hankyung.com and the real estate industry on the 26th, Kyuhyun's building, located near Myeongdong Station in Jung-gu, Seoul, has been listed for 9.5 billion won. The sale is ongoing for a total of 11.8 billion won, including the land behind the building.
Kyuhyun purchased the building, which has 6 floors above ground (total area 1714㎡/floor area 70㎡), in June 2014 and remodeled it into a guesthouse and café. It is known that his father has been operating the guesthouse. Considering that the maximum claim amount registered at the time was set at 6 billion won, it seems that 5 billion won was covered by a loan.
Kyuhyun's guesthouse is an 8-story building, including a basement and rooftop, located near Myeongdong Station. The basement level features a book café and parking lot. The first floor includes a lobby and café, while the rooftop has a park and a small theater.
In the past, Kyuhyun appeared on the MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star' and explained, "Isn't it the era of 1 million tourists? I opened a guesthouse in Myeongdong," adding, "My parents and sister are here. There are about 60 rooms."
