Comedian Shim Hyun-seop, who is in a public relationship, has already become a married man.
Shim Hyun-seop will make a surprising announcement on the TV Chosun show 'Lovers of Joseon' (hereafter 'Lovers') airing on January 6 next year, stating, “I have already had the wedding.”
‘Lovers’ is a hyper-realistic documentary variety show that presents the tumultuous love stories of various lovers as they are. The returning ‘Lovers’ will expand its scope to include not only romantic love between couples but also love among family members, offering viewers a wider variety of ‘love’ forms. Notably, the couple Kim Guk-jin and Kang Soo-ji, along with Choi Seong-guk, Hwang Bo-ra, and Kim Ji-min, will continue as MCs from the previous season.
In particular, the current status of Shim Hyun-seop, who has evolved from ‘pond man’ to ‘national lover’ while sharing news of his relationship with his ‘11-year younger’ girlfriend, will also be revealed. In the last broadcast, Shim Hyun-seop met with his girlfriend's parents to ask for permission to marry, but his future father-in-law expressed a cautious stance, saying, “Why the rush?” which evoked sympathy.
Later, during an outing with the ‘Lovers’ cast, Shim Hyun-seop boasted of his strong affection by joking, “We have already had the wedding.” As ‘Lovers of Joseon’ takes a short break, there is keen interest in what changes may have occurred in Shim Hyun-seop's wedding preparations.
