Actress Jeon So-min (39) shared her feelings of distress from suffering due to malicious comments while creating happy memories on ‘Running Man’.
On the 11th, Jeon So-min appeared on TV Chosun’s ‘Foodie Heo Young-man’s Baekban Journey’ (hereinafter ‘Baekban Journey’) and went on a food tour in Yongsan with Heo Young-man.
Having lived in Yongsan for 8 years, Jeon So-min said, “I know many delicious places,” and added, “After moving out, I couldn’t leave and have continued to live here. I came to Yongsan to live in a place where I could see the N Tower in Seoul, and it feels like I’ve succeeded. I live in a place where I can see the Seoul Tower? I think, ‘I live in the center of Seoul, I must be a successful person,’” she said with a smile.
Now in her 22nd year since her debut, she started as a magazine model at 19. Although her original dream was to be a singer, she gave it up due to a lack of vocal ability and chose the path of acting. After establishing herself as a stable actress, she gained fame through her 7-year fixed appearance on the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’.

Jeon So-min recalled, “At first, I appeared as a guest on ‘Running Man’ two times before receiving a fixed appearance offer and stayed for 7 years. The fixed members did all the hosting, and I played with my unique character in a comedic way. It was truly a happy workplace for me.”
However, she found the negative comments to be painful. Heo Young-man asked, “I heard there were many negative comments,” to which Jeon So-min acknowledged, “The more attention you get from many people, the more you tend to get hurt.”
Jeon So-min continued, “Others may also receive many negative comments, but if there were reasons behind them, I would think deeply about it. However, I felt that there wasn’t really much reason behind the comments I received.”
Additionally, she confessed, “I feel that I want to create people who will support me more firmly in the future. So, I sometimes think it would be good to get married soon.”
