MBC announcer Ahn Joo-hee is leaving radio to prepare for childbirth.
Ahn Joo-hee stepped down from her DJ position on MBC Radio's "Good Morning, World with Ahn Joo-hee" (hereinafter "Good Morning, World") after the broadcast on the 3rd.
On that day, she said her final goodbyes to the listeners. She expressed, "It wasn't easy to start the day early, but I never truly felt like I didn't want to do it. Hosting a radio show is about comforting someone, but I received even greater comfort myself," she said, becoming emotional.
She reflected, "Over the past three years, we talked about flowers in spring, shared stories about summer snacks, celebrated my birthday in autumn, and it was hard to come out in winter because of the late-rising sun, but I was happy," adding, "I met you all at 29, and now I'm getting married and becoming a mother in my 30s."
Additionally, she shared, "I was happy thanks to everyone who visited Judy Pia every early morning. It will remain a memorable romance. Thank you for everything during this time."
Previously, Ahn Joo-hee married a financial man six years her senior on June 9 last year. Shortly after, she announced her pregnancy about six months into the marriage.
