JYP Entertainment announced Chaeyoung's solo debut news along with short-form content featuring her work process on TWICE's official SNS channel at midnight on the 8th.
With this, Chaeyoung becomes the fourth solo act from TWICE, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu, showcasing her unique personality to the fullest.
The work process video released that day captured Chaeyoung focusing on recording, having meetings with the Japanese pop band Gliiico, and freely playing the piano, heightening expectations for 'Solo Artist Chaeyoung.'
In particular, Chaeyoung recently participated in the original soundtrack of the popular Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' alongside Jeongyeon and Jihyo, captivating both domestic and international fans with her distinctive vocal charm. As worldwide fans' attention is focused, information regarding Chaeyoung's solo album will be gradually released on TWICE's official SNS channel.
