The agency Attract, which represents the girl group FIFTY FIFTY, is preparing to appeal after losing the copyright dispute over their global hit song 'Cupid'.

On the 8th, Attract released an official statement saying, "We would like to inform you that we are currently preparing an appeal in conjunction with legal review regarding the first trial lawsuit on the copyright of 'Cupid' against The Givers, which was announced today."

They added, "We appreciate the warm interest shown towards girl group FIFTY FIFTY and Attract, and we will provide further details regarding the lawsuit as they become available."

On the same day, the 62nd Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Lee Hyun-seok) ruled, "The plaintiff's claims are without merit and are therefore dismissed in their entirety," in the copyright confirmation lawsuit filed by Attract against The Givers.

Attract had previously filed a lawsuit claiming that the copyright of 'Cupid' held by The Givers belongs to them and demanded its transfer.
