Star golf announcer and CEO of New Star Holdings, Jang Sae-byeol, lost her father ahead of Parents' Day on May 8.
Jang Sae-byeol's father, Jang Dong-woon, passed away on the 7th at the age of 74.
In deep sorrow, Jang Sae-byeol expressed in a message sent to acquaintances on the 8th, "I was unable to inform many about my father's passing due to the circumstances. I apologize for the heavy news."
After gaining broadcasting experience in various sports venues, Jang Sae-byeol has been active as a leading announcer on a sports specialty channel. In 2023, she established New Star Holdings and launched the golf management brand 'New Star M' and the commerce brand 'New Star C', transforming into a businesswoman. Recently, she was also appointed as the ambassador for the Korean branch of the global company Live Pure.
The funeral hall is set up in Room 2 of the Severance Hospital funeral home in Sinchon, Seoul. The funeral will be held at 8 AM on the 9th, and the burial site is the Yongmi-ri 2 Cemetery at the Seoul City Crematorium.
