Broadcaster Shin Dong-yeob mentioned his dark times in life.
On the 2nd, a video titled "Finally, that person has arrived?? A real talk with Shin Dong-yeob and the little GongpaSae kids, who wants to eavesdrop?" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'GongpaSae'.
Haha asked Shin Dong-yeob, "Don't you have any tears? You've lived your life like a roller coaster, so there must have been tough times, right?" To this, Shin Dong-yeob replied, "At the end of 1999, I never cried even once in the detention center." Shin Dong-yeob was arrested in 1999 for marijuana use and was fined 20 million won.
Surprised by Shin Dong-yeob's answer, Haha waved his hands and said, "That's not what I was trying to talk about. I was talking about business."
Shin Dong-yeob clarified, "It wasn't about business; to be precise, I made a mistake by co-signing. I lost almost 10kg in just a month. I thought, 'What does it mean to eat like this?' And I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat and couldn't sleep, so I was completely skinny."
He continued, "But as time passed, I realized that it wasn't that I was scammed, but rather that I was blinded by my own greed and couldn't see properly."
Shin Dong-yeob also said, "But looking back, that person worked hard. That person has been scamming people all their life. They have been doing the same thing since the past, without losing their original intention," turning his pain into laughter.
