Last winter, the 12 dancers of ‘Stage Fighter’ sparked a new dance boom in South Korea, showcasing the charm of pure dance and are now set to begin their official activities.

On the 2nd, the 12 main cast members of the Mnet dance competition program ‘Stage Fighter’ announced the official start of their activities as the STF Dance Company. The STF Dance Company will kick off its first national tour this November and plans to continue with new performances every six months.

With a variety of genres coming together, they plan to present not only the styles showcased in ‘Stage Fighter’ but also classical pieces from each genre, crossovers that transcend genres, and collaborations with artists from other fields, aiming for new attempts that have never been seen before. Additionally, new forms of performances linked to online and offline content will be prepared.

At the same time, the process of creating the performances will be revealed through the official YouTube channel STF.D, and in addition to performance-related content, diverse activities showcasing the individual charms of the dance company members will be posted.

The final members of the STF Dance Company include Kang Kyung-ho, Jeong Seong-wook, Kim Yoo-chan (Ballet), Kim Hye-hyun, Yoon Hyuk-jung, Kim Hyun-ho (Contemporary Dance), Kim Si-won, Kim Hyo-jun, Park Jun-woo, Kim Gyu-nyeon, Kim Jong-cheol (Korean Dance), totaling 11 members.

Choi Ho-jong (Korean Dance), who secured the top spot, has decided to step down for solo activities.

As a result, a new member is expected to join the STF Dance Company to fill the vacancy. Curiosity is heightened as to which dancer, who unfortunately did not make it into the final 12, will be selected.
