TVXQ (Yunho, Changmin) has renewed their contract with SM Entertainment (hereafter SM). It has been a remarkable 22 years of partnership.
On the 2nd, SM stated, “We are delighted to be working with TVXQ once again. As K-POP legendary artists who have created history with SM, we will actively support Yunho and Changmin in their diverse activities.”
Yunho expressed, “It feels nostalgic to continue the relationship with SM, which has been with us since our debut. We will always do our best to show our fans, who have always given us unwavering love and support, a good side of TVXQ in various fields.”
Changmin also said, “It is very meaningful to be able to walk alongside SM for over 20 years. Together with SM, who always supports and empowers us, we will create an even more wonderful future for TVXQ.”
Celebrating their 22nd anniversary this year, TVXQ is a representative artist of South Korea that has sparked the current global K-POP craze, starting with their debut song ‘Hug’, followed by hits like ‘Rising Sun’, ‘Mirotic’, ‘Why (Keep Your Head Down)’, and ‘Rebel’.
Not only in group activities but also in music, acting, musicals, and variety shows, they are continuing to thrive with their solo activities.
TVXQ will hold their 33rd concert at Tokyo Dome from April 25 to 27. The total number of dome performances nationwide reaches 92, setting the record for the most performances at Tokyo Dome and nationwide by a foreign artist.
