Actor Lee Jong-suk has donated 100 million won to support wildfire victims.

According to Lee Jong-suk's agency, Ace Factory, on the 27th, he donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help residents affected by wildfires in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association plans to use Lee Jong-suk's donation for emergency support and the provision of relief supplies for residents in the wildfire-affected areas. Hope Bridge is currently providing emergency relief supplies to the wildfire-affected sites in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, and Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, as well as Andong City, Gyeongbuk. They are operating relief vehicles such as laundry support vehicles and mental recovery buses at temporary evacuation sites. They are also considering additional support in consultation with local governments if necessary.

Previously, in 2022, Lee Jong-suk donated 200 million won to Hope Bridge to help neighbors affected by the Donghae wildfire. His total donations to Hope Bridge have now reached 300 million won, as he has consistently engaged in donation activities whenever there is a national disaster.

Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate actor Lee Jong-suk's consistent and heartfelt sharing. This solidarity and concern will be a great source of strength and comfort to the affected neighbors.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lee Jong-suk donated protective clothing worth 100 million won to the Korean Medical Association, and last year, he continued his charitable efforts by donating 100 million won to support children and adolescents at Asan Medical Center in Seoul and vulnerable patients.

In addition, he has supported youth preparing for independence and children from crisis families through the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors, with his total donations amounting to 1.1 billion won, continuously monitoring and providing support to those in need every year.

Before Lee Jong-suk, a line of donations from stars such as singer and actress IU, Suzy, Hyeri, and Lee Dong-wook has continued.
