The photoshoot of the group Oh My Girl has been revealed.
The magazine 'Singles' has released a group photoshoot of Oh My Girl, who is preparing for a special concert to celebrate their 10th anniversary. In the photoshoot, Oh My Girl perfectly embodies a sophisticated black and white styling, showcasing their elegant charisma.
Oh My Girl is set to meet fans through a concert in April. Yubin explained the title 'Milky Way', saying, "It's a lyric from our song 'Closer', and I think it symbolizes Oh My Girl. I believe that if we gather the pieces of memories we've walked through, it can become a long Milky Way."
Seunghee mentioned, "There are so many songs I want to showcase at this concert, so adjusting the setlist wasn't easy. However, since it's the 10th anniversary, we composed it with the songs that made Oh My Girl and the ones that fans have loved. We plan to present the songs that come to mind when you think of 'Oh My Girl'," raising expectations for the concert.
When asked about their feelings on reaching the 10th anniversary, Hyojung said, "I think it's a very grateful thing to have spent my 20s with the members and fans. I'm very proud of the stages we've shared, and I want to thank the members who have believed in and followed each other during that long time." Yua also shared, "I feel like I've experienced so many things all at once over the past 10 years. It was very intense, passionate, and there were difficult times, but I think we've managed well together as members."
When talking about the most memorable moment of the past 10 years, Yua recalled, "It was when we ranked first on the music charts with 'A Little Excited'. The number '1' has a good meaning, but I often thought that it wasn't everything. That was the first time I experienced the joy of being number one, and it was nice to have the members by my side at that moment. The moments we struggled together flashed through my mind. That moment is still stamped in my heart."
Seunghee mentioned, "It was when we participated in 'Queendom'. I think it was a program that showed that Oh My Girl is not an easy group, and I had many overwhelming moments seeing the members overcome the survival challenges." Arin reminisced, "In the early days of our debut, we used to buy food together and share our worries. Looking back, I think I miss those moments even more because they are times we can never return to."
When asked about the next 10 years, Mimi expressed, "I hope we can continue to do well like today. I want us to respect each other and not lose our original intentions. I believe that as long as the members continue to do their best, Oh My Girl will be wonderfully enough just as we are now."
Regarding goals for 2025, Seunghee stated, "Since I've started acting, I want to come back with better roles," while Hyojung said, "Since I've become a radio DJ, I want to be a friendly DJ with the listeners." Arin added, "I want to grow through various experiences by seeing and feeling many things, and as Oh My Girl's Arin, I want to enjoy this concert happily without regrets," expressing her anticipation for meeting fans.
Oh My Girl's solo concert 'Milky Way', celebrating their 10th anniversary, will be held on April 19 and 20 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
