Actor Lee Je-hoon returns with a striking white hair. He transforms into ‘Yoon Joo-no’, a corporate M&A expert known as the white snake of the negotiation world.

At the production presentation of JTBC's weekend drama ‘The Art of Negotiation’ (directed by Ahn Pan-seok, written by Lee Seung-young, produced by B.A. Entertainment, SLL, Drama House Studio) held at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Seoul on the 6th, Lee Je-hoon expressed, “I am filled with excitement, anticipation, and curiosity about this work, and strangely, I feel a great sense of pride about it.”

He continued, “I am happy to be able to work on this story with a director I have respected my whole life, and it is such an honorable moment to show this ensemble with the best actors in South Korea. It is inspiring to think that such a drama can come out in South Korea. I want to confidently recommend this drama to everyone,” he said.

What is the reason behind his transformation into a white-haired character as the young M&A team leader ‘Yoon Joo-no’?

Lee Je-hoon mentioned that he initially had concerns and worries about the ‘white hair’. “I honestly worried that acting with white hair might be quite difficult,” he said, but added, “I thought the reason Yoon Joo-no is called the white snake is that it means he thinks and acts a hundred times. I believed that when this character is first shown to people, it could appear mysterious yet meaningful, so I gathered my courage and tried it.” He continued, “In the end, I really liked it. It became an unforgettable character.”

Reflecting on this work, he said, “I think I learned about understanding people and their psychology,” and expressed satisfaction, saying, “Every day was like homework, but on set, I was happier and more joyful than in any other place.”

Director Ahn Pan-seok also showed confidence, saying, “When Lee Je-hoon walked out after four hours of makeup, I naturally bowed my head,” and added, “Lee Je-hoon is the point to watch.”

‘The Art of Negotiation’, which will premiere on the 8th, is a drama depicting the activities of a corporate M&A expert, known as a legendary negotiator, and his team. Yoon Joo-no, who begins M&A in earnest to save the Sanin Group, which is burdened with 1 trillion won in debt, will focus on whether he can pay off all the debts and save the company with his unique ‘art of negotiation’.
