JTBC is launching a new traditional current affairs debate program called 'Argument/Dispute'.

The first broadcast of 'Argument/Dispute' will air on the 6th and will be broadcast every Thursday at midnight for 90 minutes. The program will be hosted by anchor Oh Dae-young from 'Oh Dae-young Live'. The title 'Argument/Dispute' means 'to confront with logic'.

JTBC stated, "The program was planned under the diagnosis that while society is flowing towards extremes and conflicts and confrontations are becoming more pronounced, finding logical solutions through intense debates is not visible."

The theme will be 'the most controversial issue of the week'. Parties on opposite sides of the issue will participate as debaters to engage in logical confrontations and seek a consensus.

Anchor Oh stated, "Every day at 5 PM on 'Oh Dae-young Live', I will analyze major issues in a multi-dimensional way, and from those, I will select the most controversial issue to present as the topic for 'Argument/Dispute' on Thursday night."

This is the first regular scheduling of a debate program on JTBC in over four years since 'All-Night Debate'.

JTBC conveyed, "'Argument/Dispute' will be a traditional debate program that is intense and sometimes aggressive, but aims to find solutions through logical confrontations."

'Argument/Dispute' will also be broadcast live on the JTBC News YouTube channel simultaneously with the main broadcast.
