‘Mungchyeo ya Chanda 4’ is set to return on April 6 with a massive project called ‘Fantasy League’ that will shake up the sports entertainment scene.
So far, ‘Mungchan’ has expanded its universe by showcasing various challenges, from legendary sports stars' early football challenges to the growth of athletes in less popular sports, and conquering the TOP100 in football. In Season 4, it will once again shake up the sports entertainment scene by establishing a full 11-a-side football league with a different schedule.
The massive project ‘Fantasy League’ will feature a lineup of South Korean celebrities with football skills, including idols, singers, actors, comedians, athletes, creators, and influencers. Many celebrities who love football have expressed their desire to join ‘Mungchan’, raising curiosity about which stars will appear.
As directors, the legendary fantasy star Ahn Jung-hwan, who is central to the ‘Mungchan’ series, and Park Hang-seo, who has written the myth of Vietnamese football as the ‘Hiddink of Vietnam’, will join forces. The leadership of Ahn Jung-hwan, who led the team to second place in ‘Mungchan1’ and victory in ‘Mungchan2’, and the strategic battle of Park Hang-seo, who led Vietnam to become the strongest in Southeast Asia, will be the biggest highlight of this season.
The chemistry between the two, who will face off as directors after being mentor and mentee, is expected to be intriguing. An ultra-premium director lineup will be revealed in the future.
The production team stated, “This season is a project that consolidates the experiences accumulated by the ‘Mungchyeo ya Chanda’ series, and we plan to present a unique football league experience by combining more thrilling matches with entertainment elements.”
