Singer Kangnam, who appears on ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2’, candidly shares his ‘plans for a second child’ with his wife Lee Sang-hwa.

In the 19th episode of the full-fledged real street food documentary ‘The Jeon Hyun-moo Project 2’ (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), which airs on the 28th at 9:10 PM, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embark on a ‘food trip’ to Andong, where Kangnam joins as a ‘food friend’ and showcases his unfiltered talk.

On that day, the three meet in Andong to eat ‘Andong Guk-sik’ and ‘Buckwheat Jelly Rice’.

While having their meal, Jeon Hyun-moo asks Kangnam about the ‘news of a second child’, to which Kangnam responds, “Actually, (Lee) Sang-hwa has bad knees and has no cartilage at all,” expressing his concern for his wife.

He continues, “Her ankles are also twisted, so she keeps falling. She has been exercising for 25 years…” and shares the ‘decision’ he and his wife made regarding having a second child and the circumstances behind it. Upon hearing this, Jeon Hyun-moo says, “I completely agree,” but then reveals, “However, I heard your sperm condition is in the bottom 10%?” which flusters Kangnam.

Caught off guard, Kangnam retorts, “We can have a baby!” and reveals that he has even undergone ‘sperm freezing’ procedures, bringing a mix of laughter and concern. He adds, “I saw my mini-me moving, and it made me really proud~” and enthusiastically recommends sperm testing and freezing procedures to the two.

Kangnam married former speed skating national representative Lee Sang-hwa in 2019, and they do not have any children yet.

Lee Sang-hwa won a gold medal in the women's 500m speed skating at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, a gold medal in the women's 500m at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, and a silver medal in the women's 500m at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, before officially retiring in 2019.

Kangnam, who is of Korean descent, passed the naturalization test in South Korea in February 2022 after three attempts and officially obtained Korean nationality.
