Broadcaster Ham So-won met with her ex-husband Jin-hwa.
On the 25th, Ham So-won posted on Instagram, "Who is this? This is my ex-husband Jin-hwa. He came to Ho Chi Minh to attend (our daughter) Hye-jung's graduation ceremony," along with a photo with her ex-husband Jin-hwa.
Afterward, Ham So-won shared photos from her daughter's graduation ceremony, expressing her gratitude towards her ex-husband Jin-hwa.
Ham So-won explained the reason for meeting her ex-husband Jin-hwa, saying, "Last year, when Hye-jung and I were going home from the kindergarten Christmas event, Hye-jung suddenly asked, 'Isn't Dad coming to the graduation ceremony?' I calmly replied, 'If Hye-jung wants to see him, Dad should come~ Mom promised, right? If Hye-jung wants, she can see Dad anytime~'."
She added, "I am grateful to Jin-hwa for keeping his promise, and I am thankful for Hye-jung, who smiles and shines every day. I also sincerely thank the kindergarten teachers, the principal, and everyone who has watched over Hye-jung as she grows up."
Ham So-won also clarified that this is not a reconciliation with her ex-husband, stating, "I think I need to clarify again that this is not a reconciliation, in case there is any misunderstanding. I will be going to Korea with Hye-jung tomorrow. I will see you all in Korea."
Ham So-won and Jin-hwa got married in 2018 but divorced in 2022.
Ham So-won revealed during an Instagram live broadcast last August that "we divorced around December 2022." She continued, "But we couldn't bear to separate because Hye-jung is still young," and said, "We have divorced on paper, but I was living with Jin-hwa." However, she announced in October of that year that she had ended her cohabitation with Jin-hwa and was raising her daughter alone.
