Actor Cha Woo-min's photoshoot has been revealed.
Fashion and beauty magazine 'Allure Korea' has released Cha Woo-min's photoshoot. Cha Woo-min continues his rising popularity with his roles as Pi Han-ul in the Tving original 'Study Group', Woo Jung-hoo in the Netflix original 'Melo Movie', and Ji Sun-woo in the SBS drama 'Treasure Island', which premiered on the 21st.
Cha Woo-min, who has shown impressive performances with diverse characters in each project, exudes freshness and boyish charm in this photoshoot. During the busy schedule of the shoot, he reportedly impressed the on-site staff with his ever-changing poses and expressions.
In a subsequent interview after the shoot, Cha Woo-min talked about the process of embodying different charming characters while filming the three projects.
He said, "I went through the audition process for all three projects. The most memorable audition was for Han-ul. During the second audition, I only received the script for Han-ul, while other candidates received scripts for both Han-ul and Se-hyun (played by Lee Jong-hyun). When I told the director that I wanted to challenge myself for the role of Se-hyun, he firmly said, 'You are Han-ul.' I was trying to persuade the director at the audition site," he said, his eyes sparkling.
He continued, "When preparing for a project, I enjoy finding references while getting ready for the character. The moment when I can create anything is the most fun. I watch countless movies, even those that have nothing to do with the project, just to wait for ideas to come to me. I sometimes binge-watch movies that I've been putting off under this pretext," sharing the joy of his creative process.
Debuting in 2021, Cha Woo-min has been steadily building his own filmography with works like 'Weak Hero Class 1' and 'It Became Night' every year. He shared, "What I learned and realized harshly over the past five years is that when I feel pressure and burden, I think of it not as being weighed down but as having climbed up and hit a wall. When this burden lessens, I feel like I haven't fallen but have broken through the wall and risen up," expressing his joy and pride in his growth and his strong personal beliefs.
