Former MBC announcer Kim Dae-ho, who declared his independence, did not participate in the filming of ‘Save Me! Homes’ because he took a vacation.
The episode of MBC’s ‘Save Me! Homes’ (hereinafter ‘Homes’) that aired on the 13th featured a special on first-generation apartments, showcasing a visit to Dongbu Ichon-dong.
On that day, the visit was led by DinDin, Yook Joong-wan, and Yang Se-chan, with Yook Joong-wan appearing in the studio alone without his visit mate Kim Dae-ho.
Kim Sook mentioned, “Joong-wan must feel empty today. He doesn’t have his partner,” referring to Kim Dae-ho, and Yook Joong-wan expressed his disappointment, saying, “No one is asking me anything. Meanwhile, Kim Dae-ho recently announced that he is leaving MBC, where he has worked for 14 years. MBC also stated, “The resignation process for announcer Kim Dae-ho has been completed, and he has been officially retired.” ‘Resignation’ refers to leaving at one’s own will.
Former announcer Kim Dae-ho joined as a public recruitment announcer in the 30th batch through the MBC entertainment program ‘Our Night - New Employee’ aired in 2011. He later made significant contributions as a host for ‘MBC Evening News’, ‘Live Today Evening’, ‘News Today’, and ‘MBC Weekend News’.
He gained attention through the MBC YouTube channel ‘14F’ in 2023, and in November 2023, he joined as a member of the Rainbow on ‘I Live Alone’. He enjoyed a peak period appearing on shows like ‘Save Me! Homes’, ‘It’s Good to Rest’, and ‘The Leader’s Side Dish’, and won the Rookie Award at the ‘2023 MBC Entertainment Awards’ for his role in ‘I Live Alone’. At the ‘2024 MBC Entertainment Awards’, he won the Best Show Variety Award and became a candidate for the Grand Prize, showcasing rapid growth by being nominated for the Grand Prize just a year after winning the Rookie Award.
