Jung Joon-ho revealed that he couldn't make the movie 'Friend' because of Shin Hyun-joon.
On the afternoon of the 1st, Shin Hyun-joon and Jung Joon-ho appeared on the MBC entertainment program ‘The Manager’ (hereinafter ‘The Manager’).
During the broadcast, Jung Joon-ho said, “The person who prevented me from making the movie ‘Friend’ is Shin Hyun-joon. I had even signed a contract to shoot ‘Friend’. There’s a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) that Hyun-joon and I used to go to often. I told him there, ‘Hyung, I got this project,’ and he said, ‘Hey, can a movie like this be made with school uniforms? Don’t do that, let’s do this instead. I’m working with the ‘Terminator’ team.’ Coincidentally, the release dates of the two movies were the same. However, the movie ‘Siren’ had only 60,000 viewers, while ‘Friend’ had 8.18 million. Everywhere I went, people were only quoting lines from ‘Friend’,” which saddened everyone.
Lee Young-ja asked, “Whose role was it originally?” and Jung Joon-ho replied, “Jang Dong-gun’s,” making Shin Hyun-joon feel even more sorry.
‘The Manager’ airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM on MBC.
