The photoshoot featuring actors Joo Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, and Ha-young has been released.
The fashion magazine ‘Harper's Bazaar’ Korea unveiled a photoshoot of the three actors Joo Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, and Ha-young from the Netflix series ‘Trauma Center’. The three actors showcased a chic style in black and white outfits, revealing a cool charisma.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, ‘Trauma Center’ tells the story of genius surgeon Baek Kang-hyuk, who is appointed to revive a virtually non-existent trauma team.
In a subsequent interview, Joo Ji-hoon, who plays the lead role of Baek Kang-hyuk, was asked about his impressions after watching the entire series. He replied, “In a word, it’s a delightful, refreshing, and exhilarating story. It’s a work that gives a cathartic feeling, making you wish there were such people in reality.”

Regarding the set with several rookie actors including Choo Young-woo, Ha-young, and Jung Jae-gwang, he said, “I’m the oldest on set, and if I’m down, everyone else is down too. I’ve come to appreciate how much the older actors have helped me in the past. Every scene, the director and the younger actors tried to openly share opinions, and once we had a meeting, it lasted for about 7 hours. I also experienced the pressure of speaking up when I was a rookie, so I tried not to create a tense atmosphere.”
Choo Young-woo, who plays the elite doctor Yang Jae-won, who moves to the trauma team following Baek Kang-hyuk, was asked about his newfound realizations. He replied, “Saving lives is truly a noble act, and although I only experienced it indirectly, I felt very earnest in those moments. My reactions have also become a bit more pronounced. Ji-hoon hyung helped a lot in monitoring and creating the character based on the webtoon.”
Ha-young, who plays the senior nurse Cheon Jang-mi, said, “Jang-mi, like her nickname ‘Gangster’, does whatever it takes for the survival of the trauma center. The director wanted me to portray a more energetic and carefree version of my original personality, so I added a brighter aspect. I would rub my face or run around sweating, and the less I cared about my appearance, the more immersive it became.”
The Netflix series ‘Trauma Center’ will be released on the 24th. The interviews with actors Joo Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, and Ha-young can be found in the February issue of ‘Harper's Bazaar’ and on their website.
