‘Solo Hell 4’ entered the global top 10 upon its release.
According to the Netflix Top 10 website on the 22nd, ‘Solo Hell 4’ recorded 4.8 million views (the number of views divided by the total runtime of the show from January 13 to 19) and 23.1 million viewing hours, achieving the highest viewing hours for a first-week score in history.
Following its 6th place in the Netflix Top 10 TV (non-English) category, it also made it to the top 10 lists in 23 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Canada, and Brazil.
‘Solo Hell 4’ is an honest and intense dating reality show set on a remote island, known as Hell, where participants can only leave if they become a couple.
Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Soo-ji stated, “We worked hard to create an environment where participants can fully immerse themselves in the emotion of love in a limited space disconnected from everyday life,” adding, “We wanted to provide unpredictable fun with new tension.”
The enhanced physical games also reveal the tangled emotions of the singles who are concerned about their love interests, amplifying the charm of the singles. Episodes 7 and 8 of ‘Solo Hell 4’ will be released on the 28th.
