Will Joo Byeong-jin propose to Shin Hye-sun?
In the episode airing on the 20th, tvN STORY’s ‘Can We Love Now’ will feature the long-awaited final story of Joo Byeong-jin and Shin Hye-sun's after-date, along with Park So-hyun's after-date following three blind dates.
As it is their second meeting, Joo Byeong-jin and Shin Hye-sun continue with honest talks. The more they talk, the deeper their mutual understanding grows, and the two become more comfortable asking and answering questions, surprising each other with their similar thoughts on first impressions, love philosophy, and life views.
"I'm waiting for the voice of my heart," says Joo Byeong-jin, who still can't let go of his hesitation. Shin Hye-sun shares her philosophy on love and pulls him closer. She expresses her expectation that Joo Byeong-jin will become a romantic once he falls in love, to which Joo Byeong-jin replies, "I want to. I’ll carry you around on my back," indulging in sweet fantasies, and adds, "Who knows? I might propose to Shin Hye-sun today...?" leaving a meaningful hint.
Additionally, just like their first date where he conveyed his feelings through song, Joo Byeong-jin presents a live performance of Lee Moon-sae's 'Girl,' drawing attention to his final decision.
Meanwhile, for their after-date, Kang Seok-won chooses a botanical garden in Gapyeong as their date location, and Park So-hyun arrives early, waiting with the couple gloves they matched in Myeongdong. Upon meeting, a mix of excitement, joy, and nervousness fills the air. Kang Seok-won confesses, "I couldn't sleep thinking about meeting you, So-hyun."
As they revisit the somewhat ambiguous flirting from their first meeting, Kang Seok-won, now more direct, starts openly flirting by saying, "I will protect you," catching attention. In a garden filled with birds, Park So-hyun responds, "You look beautiful," creating a pink atmosphere.
While discussing their approach to interacting with people, Park So-hyun shares her weaknesses and insecurities, and Kang Seok-won encourages her, saying, "It's okay. I'm here for you," positioning himself as her sole supporter. Park So-hyun responds, "I feel very warm," and "It's been a while since someone spoke to me so kindly," sharing her excitement.
Meanwhile, Park So-hyun hesitates again in front of the age barrier. Kang Seok-won not only engages in serious conversation but also lightens the mood with timely jokes to ease her tension. The two challenge each other to a wish-granting game at an amusement park, leading to a tense competition, with Kang Seok-won making a bold wish that draws interest.
As Joo Byeong-jin and Park So-hyun both seek their final connection, they are racing towards the conclusion of their second after-date in ‘Can We Love Now,’ airing on the 20th at 8 PM on tvN STORY.
