Singer Lee Young-ji has donated 20 million won to support the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.
On the 3rd, Lee Young-ji revealed on Instagram that she donated 10 million won each to the Korean Red Cross and the Warm Day Foundation.
Lee Young-ji expressed her condolences, saying, “I cannot fully comprehend the devastating feelings, so I send my comfort through this small help. I sincerely pray for the souls of all the victims.”
On December 29 of last year, a Jeju Air passenger plane carrying 181 passengers collided with the runway's outer wall during landing at An-Guk International Airport, resulting in a fire that claimed the lives of 179 people and injured 2 others. The government has designated a week of national mourning until the 4th.
