The movie ‘Love's Hachuping,’ which attracted 1.23 million viewers, is returning as a fantasy musical.
It will be performed at the Woori Financial Art Hall in Olympic Park from the 8th to February 16.
The musical ‘Love's Hachuping’ will showcase a new fantasy musical genre through fantastic magic direction, instantaneous costume changes, shadow plays infused with analog emotions, and Tinyping puppets (puppet objects) created with holograms and large structures.
With magical flying direction produced by a Las Vegas magic team and magical effects directed by an illusionist, audiences will be able to experience the vibrancy of scenes from the animated film in an offline stage setting.
Illusionist Lee Eungyeol, who directed ‘Love's Hachuping,’ stated, “The genre of illusion is characterized by magical or analog direction and expressions that actively stimulate the audience's imagination,” and added, “Using the unique illusion know-how accumulated through experience, we will present magical scenes that blur the boundaries between imagination and reality right before your eyes.”
‘Love's Hachuping’ is gaining attention for being the first to utilize the ‘puppet (puppet object)’ directing technique. In this new genre, an actor who is responsible for the movements of the character puppet performs on stage, delicately expressing the character's inner emotions.
The film ‘Love's Hachuping’ is once again making a hit after ranking first in the movie category following its release on Netflix on December 30.
