
Actor Kim Jung-hyun apologized for past actions at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards'.
Recently, a post was made in an online community stating, "Kim Jung-hyun apologizes to Seo-hyun during his award acceptance speech."
According to the post, Kim Jung-hyun said, "I have many things to reflect on from the past. It has weighed heavily on my heart," and added, "I really wanted to apologize" during the '2024 KBS Acting Awards' held on December 31 of last year.
In response, a representative from Kim Jung-hyun's agency, Story J Company, stated on the 2nd to Maeil Business Newspaper's Star Today, "While he did not specify the exact target, it is true that he reflected on his immature behavior from the past."
Previously, Kim Jung-hyun and Seo-hyun worked together in the 2018 MBC drama 'Time'. At that time, during the production presentation of 'Time', Kim Jung-hyun showed a lack of enthusiasm by refusing to link arms with Seo-hyun for a photo shoot, which led to controversy over his attitude, and he left the drama midway due to health issues.
Afterward, Kim Jung-hyun conveyed his position through a handwritten apology, stating, "I regret it so much that I want to turn back time," and added, "I sincerely apologize without any excuses."
Kim Jung-hyun is currently appearing in the KBS2 weekend drama 'Iron Family', while Seo-hyun hosted the award ceremony and reunited with him.
The '2024 KBS Acting Awards' was recorded and broadcasted due to the national mourning period, and the broadcast schedule is yet to be determined. There is keen interest in whether Kim Jung-hyun's acceptance speech will be aired as is.
