Hibap (28, Jwa Hee-jae), a mukbang YouTuber with 1.65 million subscribers, revealed his monthly earnings.
In the final episode of MBN's 'Go' Season 3, airing on the 21st at 8:20 PM, mukbang YouTuber Hibap will appear as a guest and share his life story.
On this day, MC Hong Hyun-hee asked Hibap about his monthly earnings, to which Hibap replied, "It’s about 100 million to 120 million won." The MCs then asked, "Is that the total income from all activities including YouTube and broadcasting?" Hibap clarified, "That's just from YouTube. It’s more when you include external activities," surprising everyone.
The MCs continued, "The cumulative income must be enormous. Who manages your assets?" Hibap responded, "If we just consider the cumulative amount, it should be around 4 to 5 billion won," adding, "I manage my assets myself, but I’m not good at financial investments."
Hibap also revealed, "When I first said I was going to do mukbang, my mom opposed it, saying, 'I can't spend the money my daughter earned. I won't accept it.' But now she takes my card and spends it. She even bought a car," which drew laughter.
Recently, Hibap has expanded his reach to terrestrial broadcasting by appearing on SBS's entertainment program 'Gol Dae-rin Geunyeodeul' and participated as a mukbang YouTuber in the Netflix restaurant mission 'Black and White Chef.'
