Mark Teto, an American broadcaster, participated in the 'prepayment' initiative for attendees of the rally for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol.

On the 14th, Mark Teto called a soup restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, and prepaid for 60 bowls. This restaurant is the same one where IU prepaid for 100 bowls for her fans attending the rally. After IU's 100 bowls ran out, Mark Teto took over and prepaid for 60 bowls, allowing the rally attendees to have a meal.

This information was shared on social media. Posts stated, "IU's prepaid 100 bowls have run out, and a foreigner has made an additional payment." On the 16th, Mark Teto shared a screenshot of a post from an online community saying, "Mark Teto prepaid for 60 bowls at the Yeouido soup restaurant," and added, "I guess he went to America," while indirectly confirming his prepayment by saying, "Everyone, I'm in Korea right now."

Mark Teto gained recognition by appearing on JTBC's 'Abnormal Summit' and 'Where is My Friend's House?' in 2014. He is currently working in the finance industry.

Earlier on the 14th, the National Assembly held a vote on the second impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol. On that day, citizens showed solidarity with the protesters by making prepaid orders at nearby cafes and restaurants. The entertainment industry also continued the trend of prepayment confirmations.

IU distributed a total of 200 pieces of bread, 200 drinks, 100 rice cakes, 100 bowls of beef soup, 100 bowls of bone soup, 100 bowls of separate soup, and hot packs to the participants of the protest. Director Park Chan-wook bought all the bread from a bakery and distributed it to the citizens. Girls' Generation's Yuri prepaid for 200 rolls of kimbap at a kimbap shop near the National Assembly for her fans.
