A photoshoot featuring singer Henry and Hwasa has been released.
Henry and Hwasa met for a shoot for the fashion magazine 'Elle'.
Recently, the two appeared together on KBS2's music travel variety show 'The Singer in Spain', showcasing their sincerity towards music alongside other musicians, and they displayed a natural chemistry on set. They performed Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful' in a special performance video for 'Elle'.
After the photoshoot, an interview was conducted. Regarding their connection, Hwasa said, "Our first meeting was a few years ago when we appeared together on MBC's 'I Live Alone'. Meeting again this time made me feel the preciousness of human connections once more. I especially came to really respect my brother's passion for music," praising Henry without reservation.
Henry also shared, "At first, I was worried that discussing music seriously with Hwasa might be awkward. However, it was actually nice that we could comfortably share our opinions actively," showing his artist side.
Having experience with busking performances from his past appearance on JTBC's 'Begin Again', Henry commented on the charm of unstructured performances, saying, "I always have a desire to perform, and since I enjoy meeting people, I think I'm drawn to spontaneous things. Sometimes, I suddenly perform at Han River Park in Seoul as well."
Hwasa, who challenged overseas busking for the first time through 'The Singer', said, "At some point, I think I started to focus more on performance than singing as a singer. Through this experience, I felt like I rediscovered how much I enjoy and love singing, a feeling I had forgotten," expressing her gratitude for the program.
When asked about his musical direction as a singer in the future, Henry expressed, "While I have been presenting short-term goals like performances and content, I want to immerse myself in album production. I'm curious about what kind of results will come when I focus on my music."
Hwasa, who has been actively promoting after releasing her second mini-album this year, stated, "Next year, I want to meet fans a lot through overseas performances as solo artist Hwasa. I hope to come back with singles that capture my feelings and situations at that time, like writing a diary," setting her resolutions for the new year.
