Actress Han Ga-in's daughter showcased her top 1% gifted abilities.
On the 11th, a video titled "Han Ga-in's gifted daughter solves all the wrong questions in 1 second (+ first interview with her son)" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Free Woman Han Ga-in.'
Han Ga-in appeared worried before the IQ test prepared by the production team. She confessed, "I'm really bad at these kinds of problems. As someone who has received rote education for a long time, I can do what I'm told well, but I'm not good at doing things creatively," adding, "How much has this been overhyped? Isn't that right? It's so burdensome."
Han Ga-in worked through the problems prepared by the production team. When asked if she had ever taken an IQ test, she revealed that her IQ was around 127 during her school years.
The production team said, "This is a warm-up question from the IQ test conducted by Mensa," to which Han Ga-in responded, "Even a warm-up. It's so humiliating."
She also mentioned her daughter, who attends a gifted education center, saying, "It would have been great if she could have solved this with me, but she went to a birthday party for a close friend today. What I'm most worried about right now is that my daughter might look down on me after seeing this."
The production team gave Han Ga-in another IQ test paper and asked if they could film her daughter solving the problems. A video of Han Ga-in's daughter solving the IQ test problems was then revealed. While solving the problems, Han Ga-in's daughter said, "This is a piece of cake. It's too easy," and quickly worked through the questions.
In a message sent to the production team, Han Ga-in shared, "(My daughter) solved all but one of the IQ test questions in 10 minutes. She said it was too easy and a piece of cake. She asked how an IQ test could be this easy, and I wondered what that makes me."
Han Ga-in married actor Yeon Jung-hoon in 2005 and gave birth to their first daughter after 10 years, followed by a second son.
Han Ga-in's daughter is reported to have been classified as a top 1% gifted child. Han Ga-in previously revealed on a show, "My first child spoke very quickly. At 40 months, she learned Korean and English on her own, and I thought it was strange, so I took her to a gifted education center, and she could recite books. The test results showed she was a language genius."
