The second episode of ‘Current King of Singers 2’, which was suspended due to President Yoon Suk-yeol's declaration of martial law, will be restructured and released on the 10th.

The production team of MBN’s ‘Current King of Singers 2’ announced on the 4th, “On December 3rd, while ‘Current King of Singers 2’ was airing, President Yoon Suk-yeol's emergency address to the nation was scheduled, causing the second episode of ‘Current King of Singers 2’ to be interrupted.”

They added, “In relation to this, it has been confirmed that the interrupted portion of the second episode will be aired on December 10th at 9:10 PM, one week later.”

In the previously aired second episode on the 3rd, powerful candidates including Enok, Jin Hae-sung, and Park Gu-yoon were announced, along with an unprecedented performance stage by 21 active participants.

Earlier, on the afternoon of the 3rd, President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law through an emergency address. Subsequently, at around 1 AM on the 4th, a resolution demanding the lifting of martial law was passed with 190 votes in favor out of 190 present at the National Assembly's plenary session, and President Yoon declared the lifting of martial law at 4:30 AM, just six hours after its declaration.
