BTS's Jungkook has added another 500 million streams on Spotify.
According to Spotify, the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar ™, 'Dreamers', performed by Jungkook, has surpassed 500 million streams (as of the chart on October 19).
With this, Jungkook now has five songs with over 500 million streams, including his solo tracks 'Seven (feat. Latto)', 'Standing Next to You', the collaboration with Charlie Puth 'Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)', and '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)'.
When it was released in November 2022, 'Dreamers' hit the number one spot on the iTunes 'Top Songs' chart in 102 countries/regions worldwide and reached number two on the Spotify 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart (as of November 20). Additionally, the performance video of 'Dreamers' released on FIFA's official YouTube account has surpassed 420 million views (as of October 2), making it the most viewed video on that channel ever.
Jungkook has surpassed a total of 9.7 billion streams on Spotify with his solo songs alone. Among these, 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has exceeded 2.5 billion streams, setting a record as the first Korean artist to achieve 2.5 billion streams.
