Actress Bae Doona expressed her excitement about the re-release of the film 'Linda Linda Linda' after 20 years.
On the afternoon of the 12th, a press screening and media conference for the 20th anniversary 4K remastering re-release of 'Linda Linda Linda' was held at Megabox COEX in Gangnam, Seoul. Attendees included actress Bae Doona, Maeda Aki, Kashii Yuu, Sekine Shiori, and director Yamashita Nobuhiro.
Regarding her feelings about reuniting with 'Linda Linda Linda' after 20 years, Bae Doona said, "This film is a work that I truly cherish and love," adding, "When I heard the news of the re-release, I was so happy that it felt like the best news I had heard this year."

"It feels like a time that captured the most beautiful moments of my youth," she said. "While filming 'Linda Linda Linda', our actors gave me really good memories and beautiful feelings, so watching this movie makes me feel a bit dreamy. I am so happy and proud," she shared.
Maeda Aki expressed, "I was really happy to see a work I love being screened. It's not common for a film to be re-released, so I am happy about it," adding, "In Japan, many audiences enjoyed it, and I received a lot of feedback. I felt that it is a beloved work, and I am glad that the four of us could meet again," she said with a bright smile.
"This is the first time this work is being screened after 20 years," said Kashii Yuu. "I learned how to make a film and what it means to participate in one through 'Linda Linda Linda'. I think it was thanks to the atmosphere the director created and the power to unite the staff, as well as the joy we had working together," she reflected. "We gathered in Tokyo not long ago, and although we have aged, I felt that we have grown in a good way. It was nice to see that nothing has changed, and I felt like I received a gift," she expressed her happiness.
Sekine Shiori mentioned, "Among the four of us, I am the only one who is not just an actress but a musician by profession. This was my first experience acting in a film, and there hasn't been another since. It was a special experience in my life. I think it's miraculous that after 20 years, we can gather and screen it not only in Japan but also in Korea and other countries. I am happy that we could all meet again after 20 years," she shared.
Director Yamashita Nobuhiro opened up, saying, "I was 28 years old when I made this film. It contains a sparkle that I didn't have at the time, and I was shy about it then, but now I want to praise the 28-year-old me. I want to say that I did well to make such a film."
"I feel like I have become an advisor to the band since I could visit Korea with the members," said director Yamashita Nobuhiro. "It feels like attending a reunion, and I feel like I have received an award. I am grateful that not only people from Korea but also from various countries came to see it," he expressed his gratitude.
The 4K remastering of 'Linda Linda Linda' is a film that depicts the clumsy and sparkling youth of a high school girl band preparing for a festival to mark the end of their high school life, featuring a Korean exchange student named 'Song' who becomes the vocalist by chance. Directed by Yamashita Nobuhiro, the film gained attention with Bae Doona in the lead role. It will be released on September 17.
