Actor Um Tae-goo will take on the role of a magazine 'Big Issue' seller in the sweltering summer heat.
On the 29th, Um Tae-goo will promote and sell the magazine 'Big Issue' as a 'Big Dome' (Big Issue sales assistant) near Jonggak Station in Seoul.
Having participated in a talent donation as the cover model for the January 2025 issue, Um Tae-goo has formed a connection with Big Issue Korea and volunteered as a 'Big Dome' to provide practical help to Big Issue sellers who dream of independence in difficult circumstances.
Earlier, in February, despite a cold wave warning with temperatures feeling as low as minus 18 degrees Celsius, Um Tae-goo engaged in 'Big Dome' activities near Gwanghwamun Station. Although portable heaters and other warming supplies were prepared on-site, Um Tae-goo expressed his desire to sell magazines in the same environment as the sellers and participated barehanded, leaving a deep impression.
Big Issue Korea stated, "Even in the biting cold last February, actor Um Tae-goo's warm heart during the Big Dome activities provided us all with unforgettable warmth. And in August, during the scorching summer where Big Issue sellers are fighting for survival, actor Um Tae-goo once again expressed his willingness to engage in Big Dome activities. His warm heart in the heat will become a cool shade for all Big Issue sellers."
