The ordinary life of actress Lee Young-ae from 'Eunsu's Good Day' begins to show cracks of tragedy.

The new KBS 2TV weekend mini-series 'Eunsu's Good Day', set to premiere on September 20, depicts the perilous and desperate partnership between a parent, Kang Eunsu, who wants to protect her family, and a two-faced teacher, Lee Kyung, who accidentally comes into possession of a drug bag.

Lee Young-ae plays the role of Kang Eunsu, who is pushed to the brink overnight due to her husband's deteriorating health and financial bankruptcy.

One day, while struggling to survive in a life that has collapsed in an instant, Eunsu discovers a suspicious bag left behind by someone, leading her to become entangled in a partnership with her daughter's after-school art instructor, Lee Kyung (played by Kim Young-kwang). Through this work, Lee Young-ae is expected to showcase her unique presence by portraying a character in extreme circumstances with a solid yet deep emotional line.

In the stills released on the 31st, Lee Young-ae vividly illustrates the narrative of Kang Eunsu's life, which is in crisis, with just three shots. First, in a scene where she is smiling brightly while drawing a heart for her daughter heading to school, the warm side of Kang Eunsu, who feels small happiness as an ordinary housewife and mother, is clearly felt. Her neat apron and bright expression, along with a moment of an ordinary and simple life, create a stark contrast with the tragedy she will soon face, enhancing the immersion.

Additionally, a scene of Eunsu working in a uniform at a supermarket has also been captured. Lee Young-ae's face, working calmly, reveals Eunsu's life of endurance in the harsh reality of ordinary labor.

The following stills capture a distinctly different atmosphere from the previous two, grabbing attention. Lee Young-ae's anxious gaze, tightly closed lips, and stiff posture suggest the cracks of tragedy that have seeped into her daily life, providing tension. The gradual changes in Lee Young-ae's detailed emotional shifts amplify curiosity about the future developments of the story and add depth to the character narrative.

The production team stated, "Lee Young-ae expresses the urgency hidden behind her bright smile and the strength to endure silently even in moments of collapse, making every moment on set hold its breath," and added, "Her performance will make the crises and choices that Kang Eunsu will face even more compelling," urging viewers to look forward to the show.

'Eunsu's Good Day' is a well-made work created by director Song Hyun-wook, recognized as a master of detail across various genres, and writer Jeon Young-shin, who boasts a high level of reality and delicate writing skills. Along with the three lead actors Lee Young-ae, Kim Young-kwang, and Park Yong-woo, talented actors such as Bae Soo-bin, Jo Yeon-hee, and Hwang Jae-yeol have joined, making it one of the most anticipated works of the second half of the year.

KBS 2TV's new weekend mini-series 'Eunsu's Good Day' will premiere on September 20 at 9:20 PM.
