On the 25th, Lee Min-woo officially announced his marriage by posting a lengthy handwritten letter on his SNS, stating, “I have decided to become a family with a precious relationship I have known for a long time.”
He revealed, “After going through various situations recently, I have come to reflect on the meaning of family. I had a vague thought of wanting to create my own family, and we confirmed our mutual feelings and made the decision.”
In the sentence where he expressed that he wanted to inform the fan club 'Shinhwa Changjo' first, the unwavering sincerity of an idol in his 26th year of debut was felt.

How is everyone doing in this unpredictably capricious summer? I think I have finally found a moment of peace after successfully finishing my first exhibition. So today, I picked up the pen to share some news that I want to tell Shinhwa Changjo first.
After going through various situations recently, I found myself mentally exhausted and tired. Spending a lot of time with my family made me reflect on the meaning of family again. I had a vague thought of wanting to create my own family that supports each other. During this time, I confirmed my feelings with a precious relationship I have known for a long time, and we decided to become a family.
I know this sudden news will surprise our Shinhwa Changjo a lot. I really struggled with how to convey this news and it wasn’t easy to pick up the pen, but I thought about how Shinhwa Changjo would feel disappointed and upset if they heard this news from somewhere else, so I’m sharing it through this clumsy writing.
I want to be congratulated by Shinhwa Changjo, whom I cherish the most, so I hope you can bless this story I’m sharing with my sincere heart.
From debuting as Shinhwa and going through passionate teenage, twenties, and thirties, I have been fortunate to receive overflowing love and support from Shinhwa Changjo for a long time. Thanks to Shinhwa Changjo, who has always supported me with warm encouragement and love despite my shortcomings, I have been able to gather the courage to take another step forward. There were difficult times, but every moment I lived as Lee Min-woo on stage has been nothing but happiness.
