Actor Song Young-kyu has been caught for drunk driving, and the production team of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles' (hereinafter 'Try') could not hide their embarrassment.

On the afternoon of the 25th, the 'Try' team stated to MK Sports, "This drama is a pre-produced drama, and all filming was completed last March."

Earlier, Song Young-kyu was accused of driving under the influence around 11 PM on the 19th of last month, driving approximately 5 km from Giheung-gu to Cheoin-gu in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province while intoxicated.

His blood alcohol concentration exceeded the license cancellation level of 0.08%. It is reported that he drove home after finishing a drinking session with acquaintances.

Nevertheless, Song Young-kyu did not inform the production team about the drunk driving incident in advance, and there was no mention of it until the drama's first broadcast and production presentation.

In response, the 'Try' production team stated, "We are very surprised and regretful to learn the facts through the reports," and added, "Song Young-kyu is a supporting character, and the broadcast for this week's episode has been prepared for transmission, including on global OTT platforms, so immediate editing is difficult."

They continued, "We are reviewing the editing of future scenes as much as possible without affecting the main storyline," indicating future actions.

The actions shown by Song Young-kyu starkly contrast with the current drunk driving controversy.

Meanwhile, in addition to 'Try', Song Young-kyu has appeared in several works as a supporting actor, and his future activity plans have not yet been disclosed.
