BTS has once again proven their global influence.
On the 7th, global music streaming service Apple Music revealed the 500 most played songs on their platform worldwide over the past decade. BTS showcased their strength by placing two songs on the chart: 'Dynamite' (34th) and 'Butter' (252nd). BTS is the only K-pop group to make it onto this chart.
Released in 2020, 'Dynamite' is BTS's first English song since their debut. It is a bright and cheerful disco pop track, featuring an addictive rhythm and a lively, dynamic performance. During the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, this song delivered a message of hope and comfort to many people around the world.

With 'Dynamite', BTS became the first Korean artist to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, maintaining the top spot for three weeks. They also won the 'Best Song' award at the 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards and the 'Top Selling Song' trophy at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. BTS was nominated for a Grammy Award, one of the three major music awards in the world, and achieved a record for the fastest diamond certification in the streaming category from the Japan Record Association (over 500 million streams).
Released in 2021, 'Butter' also achieved monumental success. The song topped the Hot 100 for a total of 10 weeks, capturing global attention. It was recognized as the 'Favorite Pop Song' at the 2021 American Music Awards and the 'Top Selling Song' at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, among other accolades. BTS was nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards with 'Butter', marking their second consecutive year as nominees following 'Dynamite'.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their live performance album 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE' on July 18 at 1 PM. This will be BTS's first live album, featuring 22 selected songs from their tour of the same name, which took place from 2021 to 2022, including 'ON', 'FIRE', 'Dope', and 'IDOL'.
