She continued, “I really like the idea of ‘consistency’... so I plan to go slowly, at the same pace from now on. Let's create beautiful memories~ Thank you!” along with a photo taken in the radio booth.
In the photo, Yvonne wore a pink tube top dress and styled her hair up, exuding a pure yet elegant atmosphere.
Comeback after 21 years since ‘Raise the Volume’… “More Excitement than Pressure”
Yvonne made a surprise return as the DJ of KBS 2 Radio's ‘Yvonne's Lala Land’ on June 30. It has been a whopping 21 years since she stood in front of the microphone after ‘Yvonne's Raise the Volume’ in 2004.
Yvonne, who was loved as a long-standing DJ for 9 years starting in 1995, plans to color the afternoon radio with her warm emotions once again.
At the production presentation, Yvonne said, “It’s been a while, but I don’t feel a lot of pressure,” adding, “I know that if I put my heart into it like before, I can build a family-like relationship with the listeners. I want to walk this path again with that mindset.” The program name ‘Lala Land’ was also named by her, meaning “I want to make the lazy 4 PM a magical time.”
Meanwhile, Yvonne is famous for having taken out a full-body insurance policy before a full-body photoshoot in the 1990s.
