"I've never seen anyone beat Wegovy before."
Shindong nodded at the doctor's words. Both fullness and medication were useless in the face of appetite.
On the 3rd, Shindong appeared on KBS2's 'Problematic Men in the Rooftop Room' and shared his experience of trying the diet injection Wegovy. "I took it up to level 1.7, but there was no change. The doctor said, 'You've beaten Wegovy,'" he said with a laugh.
He also confessed that he spent 14.49 million won on delivery fees for a year. He only uses three delivery apps, and one of them alone accounts for that amount. "I can't just order stir-fried pork. There has to be stew, and there’s a basic set," he added, making those around him burst into laughter.
Everyone laughed at that expression. Shindong's unique 'self-deprecating humor about appetite' was effective that day as well.
However, there were also ups and downs in his dieting journey. He confessed that he once lost weight from 116kg to 79kg, but experienced a yo-yo effect after three months. "I'm still trying to control it. When I really eat, I could go up to 200kg," he joked.
Meanwhile, Shindong gained significant attention for his dramatic weight loss in the past, and he has been continuously battling the yo-yo effect since then. Recently, he has been active in entertainment with his honest and cheerful self-confession character, earning the nickname 'Philosopher of the Mukbang World.'
