The virtual idol group PLAVE has successfully concluded their Japanese debut showcase.
On the evening of the 17th, PLAVE held a showcase in Tokyo to celebrate the release of their first Japanese digital single album 'Kakurenbo (かくれんぼ)' and met with local fans.
As the performance began, PLAVE made a stunning entrance through a portal, captivating the audience with dazzling visual effects that drew enthusiastic cheers. They opened the show by performing 'Chroma Drift - Japanese Ver', a track from their new album.

We have been eagerly waiting for this day to meet you all and have prepared with all our hearts. We hope to have a great time today."
The atmosphere was further elevated as they engaged in lively and diverse conversations with the Japanese comedy duo Trendy Angel, discussing their world view and characteristics as a self-produced idol group. PLAVE then showcased another track, 'RIZZ - Japanese Ver.', through a live performance, addressing various questions from fans that had been submitted in advance.
During a Q&A session with the media, when asked about their future activities, the members replied, "We plan to go on an Asia tour in the second half of the year, which will include performances in Japan. We are really excited to have our first solo concert in Japan." They also expressed their musical ambitions, mentioning genres they would like to produce, such as anime themes and rock, saying, "We want to collaborate with famous artists and have many activities we want to pursue."
On this day, PLAVE captivated the audience with short live performances of famous Japanese hit covers, including 'きらり (Kirari)', '晩餐歌 (Bansanka)', and '不可幸力 (Fukakouryoku)', as well as their Korean releases 'Sixth Summer' and 'I'll Wait' showcasing their unique vocal colors and refreshing singing abilities.
Following this, the highlight of the showcase was the live performance of PLAVE's first original Japanese song and the title track of their new album, 'Kakurenbo (かくれんぼ)'. With detailed choreography created by Bambi and Hamin, the refreshing yet poignant band sound came together to deliver a high-quality stage.
After successfully concluding the showcase, PLAVE expressed, "We were really happy to meet you all. Thank you so much for welcoming us so warmly." They added, "We hope to have more opportunities to meet you in the future. We will work hard to be a group that can bring strength and courage to you."
