Singer and actress Son Dam-bi shared a realistic day as a mother, resonating with many through her down-to-earth ‘50-day self-shooting’ video.
On the 13th, Son Dam-bi revealed the shooting scene for her daughter Jae-i's 50-day celebration on her YouTube channel ‘Dambi Son’.
In the video, she prepared for the shoot at home with a friend photographer instead of a studio, and mentioned that she decorated everything from balloons to background props herself.
“I didn’t discuss it with my husband, and my brother didn’t even know we were doing the 50-day shoot,” Son Dam-bi said with a smile, as she took various concept photos around the house, changing the atmosphere in places like the bed and sofa.
In particular, she drew attention to the balloons she blew up herself, the props she selected online, and her daughter’s carefully styled outfit, saying, “While it’s important to use high-quality personnel, it was possible to do a self-shoot because my friend is a photographer,” which resonated with many real mothers.
Son Dam-bi also mentioned that she plans to do the 100-day celebration shoot at home, saying, “I don’t want my child to be stressed in an unfamiliar environment, so I’m trying to handle everything at home. I’m thinking about how to make it more fun to shoot.”
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married former speed skating national representative Lee Gyu-hyuk in 2022 and welcomed her first daughter, Jae-i, last April.
