In the 319th episode of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' airing on the 9th, a contributor from an idol group appears.
The contributor reveals that he debuted as the lead vocalist of the 9-member boy group 'BTL' in 2014. Seo Jang-hoon acknowledges, saying, "You have the face of an idol," and adds, "After about 2 years of activities for the first album, we prepared for the second album's music video and showcase, but we suddenly disbanded due to company circumstances."
He explains that he received a casting offer by chance at the age of 20, stating, "I originally dreamed of being an actor and aspired to be an actor from an idol background," and that he debuted through auditions.
After the disbandment, he chose to enlist in the military to transition to acting, and during his leave, he met his wife, leading him to put his dreams aside and enter the workforce for his family.
He is already living with his 5-year-old and 15-month-old sons, but when he expresses his desire to have a third child, Lee Soo-geun empathizes, saying, "I also want a daughter, but I can't guarantee it 100%." He suggests, "Since you're still young, how about a late baby?" and continues with realistic advice, saying, "If you have three kids, your wife will have a hard time," and adds, "You might not be able to give up on your dreams that you've set aside, and later you might want to try again," encouraging the contributor that "trying again requires some leisure as well."
Additionally, the 319th episode of 'Ask Anything' includes the contributor's story of feeling neglected among his brothers with intellectual disabilities and his feelings of disappointment towards his daughter who wants to seat her stepfather at the main table.
