Director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed the reason for Cheol-soo's appearance in 'Squid Game' Season 3.
On the morning of the 9th, a production presentation for Netflix's series 'Squid Game' Season 3 was held at Dragon City in Yongsan, Seoul.
The announcement of Cheol-soo, who will follow in the footsteps of the signature character 'Young-hee', has drawn significant attention.
Regarding the appearance of Young-hee and Cheol-soo together in Season 3, Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said, "If there are games that require dolls to participate together in Seasons 2 and 3, I wanted to show a game where the two are paired together."
He added, "I also wanted to show that there is a male character besides Young-hee. I wanted to introduce him in Season 3."
'Squid Game' Season 3 tells the story of 'Gi-hun', who loses his best friend while re-participating in the game with his own purpose, 'Frontman', who secretly infiltrated the game, and the final fate of the participants who survived in that brutal game.
