Park Bo-gum perfectly expressed the emotional turmoil of his character in ‘Good Boy’.
In the third episode of ‘Good Boy’ aired on JTBC on the 7th, Yun Dong-ju (played by Park Bo-gum) was depicted as being frustrated after losing a precious person while tracking down the true culprit of a hit-and-run incident.
First, Dong-ju boldly pressured customs officer Joo-young (played by Oh Jung-se), whom he suspected to be the true culprit of the hit-and-run, causing a stir with his sudden actions. Amidst Dong-ju's unpredictable behavior that elicited laughter, the tension escalated as he faced off against his romantic rival Jong-hyun (played by Lee Sang-yi) over Han-na (played by Kim So-hyun).

Through this confrontation, a past incident that left a trauma on the always bright Dong-ju was revealed. He had a painful memory of injuring his beloved junior Kyung-il (played by Lee Jung-ha) during a boxing match, which led to Kyung-il's retirement. Dong-ju visited Kyung-il, who was imprisoned on a false murder charge, and expressed his determination to do whatever it takes to help him, saying, “Just say one thing. That you didn’t kill him. Then I will do whatever it takes to get you out.”
However, the case concluded with Kyung-il's mysterious death while in custody, and ultimately, he took his own life. Although Dong-ju fell into deep sadness and a sense of loss, he displayed a tenacious and persistent attitude as he captured small clues and sought the truth. He was convinced that Joo-young, who owned a gold watch found at the crime scene, was the culprit, and he confronted him with a strong declaration, “If you can run away, then try to escape,” creating a gripping ending.
Park Bo-gum, who seems endlessly positive and impulsive, compellingly portrayed the character of Yun Dong-ju, who harbors deep inner wounds, drawing viewers' emotional investment. Attention is focused on what kind of actions he will take as he tracks down the true culprit after losing someone dear to him.
