Singer-songwriter Sion takes the stage as the third vocalist for the 'Unknown Seoul' OST.
At 6 PM on the 8th, the OST 'On Your Side' featuring Sion's vocals for the tvN weekend drama 'Unknown Seoul' (written by Lee Kang / directed by Park Shin-woo, Nam Geon / planned by Studio Dragon / produced by Monster Union, High Ground) will be released on various online music sites.
'On Your Side' is a song that combines warm and delicate electric guitar melodies with Sion's pure voice, featuring gentle lyrics that convey the message, "I will always be by your side," harmonizing with the emotional lines of the characters in the drama. Notably, this song serves as the opening theme for 'Unknown Seoul,' and inquiries about its release have flooded in from viewers right after the broadcast.
This OST is a collaboration between music director Nam Hye-seung, who has been responsible for numerous hit drama soundtracks such as 'Our Beloved Summer,' 'Crash Landing on You,' and 'Mr. Sunshine,' and composer Kim Kyung-hee, creating a well-made OST with a warm and diverse atmosphere.
Sion, who is gaining attention for her unique musicality, showcased an expanded musical spectrum through her EP 'sociavoidance' released in June last year. She has also participated in OSTs for dramas such as 'Ask the Stars' and 'Unlock My Boss,' proving her presence with delicate expressiveness and her distinctive tone.
