Choreographer Bae Yoon-jung revealed her tearful love story with her 11-year-younger husband on SBS’s ‘Dolsing Po Man’.
In the episode aired on the 27th, Bae Yoon-jung appeared as a guest and candidly shared her journey from her first meeting with her husband, who helped her rise again during a difficult time after her divorce, to their remarriage.
She began, “My first impression of my husband was that he was like a baby. He was just a neighborhood younger brother I knew by face, and we only greeted each other as fans.” Then one day, her husband started to approach her little by little.
“After my divorce, I had a lot of time alone, but one day he started coming over every day, saying, ‘Let’s eat, let’s watch a movie.’ For three months, he came to my house every single day and took me out,” she recalled.
However, when she asked, “Do you like me?” her husband shyly replied, “I was originally a fan,” and Bae Yoon-jung said, “Even though he took care of me every day, at that time, he just felt like a younger brother.”
But one day, when he suddenly stopped contacting her, she realized that she was actually waiting for him. “That’s when I realized that I had feelings for him.”
After that, her husband boldly confessed his feelings, and Bae Yoon-jung said, “If he hadn’t done that, I wouldn’t have remarried.” She added, “When I cry, my husband says, ‘You look pretty even when you cry,’” showing her affection.
When Lim Won-hee asked, “I heard that even when you’re angry, your husband is so cute that you don’t get mad?” Bae Yoon-jung replied, “I used to laugh at that, but now I think, ‘Is he doing this on purpose?’ and it makes me even angrier,” adding a touch of reality to their married life.
Meanwhile, Bae Yoon-jung remarried a non-celebrity 11 years younger than her in 2019 and gave birth to their first son in 2022, currently leading a happy family life. At the end of the broadcast, she added, “The bond we found after going through pain is even more precious,” evoking emotions.
