The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has been recognized for its significant influence in the United States.
On the 1st (local time), SEVENTEEN was the only K-Pop group to be included in the 'A100' list for 2025 announced by Gold House in the U.S. Gold House is a non-profit organization that supports cultural and artistic figures from the Asia-Pacific region, selecting 100 Asians who have made a significant impact on American culture and society each year for the 'A100' list.
In particular, SEVENTEEN has proven its high global status by being listed alongside renowned cultural and artistic figures such as legendary pop star Bruno Mars, acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho, and Han Kang, the first Korean to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Gold House introduced SEVENTEEN as a "K-Pop icon," explaining that "they have led the music industry through their unique 'self-production' based on the interaction of their distinct units (hip-hop team, performance team, vocal team)." They also stated, "As SEVENTEEN celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, they continue to reinvent themselves," adding, "The members are constantly exceeding expectations with their unquenchable ambition and limitless musical spectrum."
SEVENTEEN showcased remarkable achievements in the global music market last year. They reached 5th place on the main album chart of the U.S. Billboard with their best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE' and mini album 'SPILL THE FEELS.' Additionally, they held solo concerts at major stadiums in the U.S., Korea, Japan, and other major Asian cities, attracting over 1.5 million audience members (combined online and offline) in just one year.
Thanks to these achievements, SEVENTEEN ranked 3rd in the 'Global Artist Chart 2024' announced by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), the highest position for a K-Pop artist. They also received honors at the '2024 Billboard Music Awards' and '2024 MTV Video Music Awards,' which are considered the four major music award ceremonies in the U.S.
SEVENTEEN is expected to make its presence felt in the global music market once again with the release of their 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' on the 26th. The album title combines 'Birthday,' which means birthday, and 'Burst,' which signifies explosion, eruption, and beginning, reflecting their determination to be reborn as a new SEVENTEEN.
