Actor Park Ji-hoon boasted about his chemistry with Lee Jun-young, with whom he acted in 'Weak Hero 2'.
On the morning of the 28th, Park Ji-hoon conducted an interview for the Netflix series 'Weak Hero Class 2' (hereafter 'Weak Hero 2') at a cafe located in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The sequel to 'Weak Hero Class 1', which was released in 2022, 'Weak Hero 2' tells the story of a model student, Yeon Si-eun (played by Park Ji-hoon), who transfers to Eunjang High School with the trauma of having faced violence for a friend but ultimately failing to protect them. The drama depicts a desperate survival story and a brilliant coming-of-age tale as he confronts greater violence to ensure he never loses a friend again. Park Ji-hoon reprised his role as Yeon Si-eun, delivering a passionate performance.

Regarding Lee Jun-young, who played Geum Seong-jae in the series, Park Ji-hoon said, "The truly threatening character was Geum Seong-jae. I was always nervous when filming with Jun-young hyung because his fists are really fast. I could actually hear the wind sound," and confessed, "When filming on set, I had to be tense and match my performance with him, especially thinking, 'If I lose focus and make a mistake, it could be a big deal, I could get hit'."
Reiterating that "his fists are really fast," Park Ji-hoon added, "After filming, I saw Jun-young hyung walking with his hands in his pockets, and I thought, 'He really is Geum Seong-jae.' The way he walked with his hands in his pockets while making a 'wind sound' was really sharp, scary, and felt threatening."
Not only in appearance but also in personality, Park Ji-hoon mentioned that Lee Jun-young is similar to Geum Seong-jae, saying, "It's not that they are similar in being threatening. He is someone who loves romance and freedom, so those aspects are similar to Geum Seong-jae." He added, "I really like him, and he cherishes and likes me a lot too," proudly sharing their friendship.
He continued, "On days when we didn't have filming, we would meet, book a practice room, and just dance without a set time, playing music to express our freedom. Since I enjoy street dancing and he likes hip-hop while I do popping, we would chat, meet privately, and lose track of time while playing songs, saying 'This song is great.' We would dance to parts that inspired us, record videos, monitor them, and comment on them. I think those moments helped us get to know and care for each other well."
Finally, Park Ji-hoon shared, "Lee Jun-young is actually a senior who debuted before me. At first, when we weren't close, I addressed him formally as 'senior,' but one day he told me not to do that and to think of him comfortably. I think that made us closer and helped us become friends more quickly."
